Stepping out to promote “Katy Perry: Part of Me” in Rio de Janeiro, the singer looked bright in yellow mini-dress which featured risky open slashes down the front, creating a series of very daring peep-holes that only just about cover her up in the boob department. Besides the slashes though, the dress is simple – it even features a high neckline which makes up for the amount of flesh on show lower down, but it’s also short so it shows off plenty of leg – Katy isn’t afraid to show off her body. She teamed the dress with clashing velvet red heels and minimal jewels.
With a sleek short haircut and quite minimal makeup (a smoky eye is minimal for Katy) this look is attention-grabbing mostly because of the whole boob-flaunting thing, but it makes it quirky and fun, one thing Katy knows how to do best. This definitely won’t be topping too many best dressed lists, but at least Katy is still herself following her split from Russell Brand which continues to make headlines – it’s just missing a pink wig and some cupcakes.
