Twilight actress Kristen Stewart has spoken on the simple way she likes to unwind: by taking a spin in her car around Los Angeles, as long as she’s in the right company, it always makes her feel comfortable and at home, especially if she’s blasting some of her favourite music:
”When am I happiest? In my car with the right friend – I like to drive and I love being in Los Angeles, it always feels like, ‘Ahhh.’ ‘So I would say if the right song came on, windows down, that’s a great feeling. To just be exciting to be moving, to be like, ‘Here we are.'”
Taking on her future in the business, Kristen reveals that she would like to direct films some day, but she wants to make sure she is as good as other famous directors before she takes a step behind the camera. She sometimes feels as though she might be at that level, but once she encounters someone great she remembers she has more work to do:
”I want to direct movies. Sometimes I think, ‘God, I want to do that, I want to do that next,’ but then I work with someone who’s great at what they do and I think, ‘I’m not there yet.'”
Kristen says that her time filming ‘Panic Room’ in 2002 with co-star Jodie Foster still has the fondest memories for her, and she was really inspired by Jodie when they worked together on the film:
”I was really lucky. Jodie’s incredibly professional but she’s not too professional because she’s so cool. She’s just another member of the crew. I love that and it’s completely influenced me.”
