5 Stars Reveal Their Workout Plans

When your in the spotlight, it’s of the utmost importance to look your best, which is why many stars take on grueling fitness timetables, working out for hours a day in some cases. These 5 celebrities have revealed how they like to stay looking their best. Some enjoy boxing or running, while others like to get adventurous with their workout and try out things such as canoeing to keep things exciting.

 

Britney Spears

Britney Spears finds workouts really important, and usually runs or does weights: “[Exercise] is a spiritual thing, it helps your mind and your body and it’s all connected. So, yes, I think it’s really important to take care of yourself in that way. I work out every other day, and sometimes every day. I run a lot on the treadmills in hotels when I’m on tour and I do light weights and a little bit of cardio.”

Naomi Campbell

Naomi Campbell likes to box and also does a few weights, but doesn’t aim to get too muscular: “I box for an hour then I work out for an hour. And I work out with a woman who I really trust. I do a few weights, but not too much – I don’t like to look too big. I’m not into yoga, I haven’t got that yet.”

Melanie Brown

Spice Girl Mel B mixes up her routine, and enjoys hiking as well as going to the gym: “Of course it’s an effort! The hardest part is getting yourself to the gym. Once I’m there, I just do it. It’s literally just a case of getting myself there. Sometimes I run, sometimes I do weights, sometimes I go take a class, sometimes I’ll take a hike outdoors. I mean, it really depends on what mood I’m in.”

Lindsay Lohan

Lindsay’s workout mostly involved push-ups, while she also tries to bulk up her skinny arms: “I do work out. I do push-ups and leg lifts. People have said I have really skinny arms, so I like doing push-ups most. (I do) as many as I can. I’m pretty good.”

Christie Brinkley

Christie’s workout is all about keeping it fresh and exiting: “I like to mix it up I like variety. I get bored if I do the same thing too much. The only constant that I have in my life is that I start whatever I do with my Total Gym because I believe it helps keep me from getting injured. Some of the things I like to do are kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, sometimes surfing, sometimes rafting, running on the beach, walking down the beach waving my arms, I call it swimming down the beach. Kind of silly looking but I don’t care.”
