Release Date

New World Aeternum is set to release on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.  This multi-platform release marks a significant expansion for the franchise, allowing console players to join the adventure for the first time.

Beta Access

For those eager to experience Aeternum before its official launch, a closed beta is now open exclusively for console players. This limited-time opportunity will allow participants to get a taste of the game and provide valuable feedback to the developers.

The closed beta runs from noon EST on July 25, 2024, to noon EST on July 31, 2024. However, due to the confidential nature of the beta, players are prohibited from streaming, sharing images, or discussing details about the game. The focus is on gathering data and player feedback to refine the console experience for the official release.

Editions & Pre-order Information

Players can choose between two editions:

  • Standard Edition: Priced at $59.99, this edition offers the base game experience.
  • Deluxe Edition: Available for $79.99, this edition includes exclusive in-game items such as a Bear mount and armor skin.

Pre-ordering on PlayStation and Xbox, or logging into the original New World before October 14, 2024, will grant players the coveted Azoth Stalker wolf mount. Additionally, existing PC players who own the Rise of the Angry Earth expansion will receive the Aeternum content as a free update.
