Zenless Zone Zero Gets a July Release Date on Multiple Platforms
Mark your calendars for Thursday, July 4th as Zenless Zone Zero arrives on PlayStation 5, PC, and mobile (iOS and Android) simultaneously. The game’s servers are scheduled to go live at 10am UTC+8, translating to 7pm PDT, 10pm EDT, 3am BST, 4am CEST, and 12am AEST for players in different timezones.
Better yet, HoYoverse is implementing cross-progression and cross-play from the get-go. This means you can seamlessly switch between platforms and team up with friends regardless of their chosen device.
How To Preload
The good news is you can preload the game to ensure you’re ready to play the moment it launches in your region! Preloading started on July 2nd for all platforms.
Here’s a quick guide on how to preload depending on your platform:
- PC: Download the HoYoPlay client from the Hoyoverse website. After installing it, select Zenless Zone Zero and start the preload. Alternatively, preload through the Epic Games Store by clicking the “Get” button on the game’s page.

- PlayStation 5: Find the game on PSN, select “Pre-order,” then choose the preload option. Note that currently, the only way to preload on PS5 involves buying a $10 bundle with in-game items. You can still download the game for free at launch, but without preloading.
