How to Unlock the Repine Locked Door in Sea of Stars
Located in a room above the entrance, you can identify the puzzle by a neon wrench sign. To the right of this sign, a door awaits, shrouded in encryption. When you attempt to interact with it, a message hints that a cypher could be the key to unlocking it.
Gather Data Strips
To create a cypher, you must first collect a specific material called a data strip. These data strips can be found inside chests scattered throughout the area, particularly on Cerulean Island. There are four of these chests in total. If you’re having trouble locating them, consider seeking the assistance of a helpful parrot who can point you in the right direction.
Here are the locations of the four data strips:
- The First Data Strip: After you’ve exited the rail/path following the events at Sacrosanct Spires, simply look to your left. You’ll find this data strip in a cave near the whirlpool.
- The Second Data Strip: Head to the very back of the Cerulean Reservoir, the fishing location on Serai’s island, to discover this data strip.
- The Third Data Strip: Located within Repine, this one might require some hunting. Explore Repine to find this valuable data strip.
- The Last Data Strip: Venture into the daunting Fleshmancer’s Lair, and make your way to the room with gigantic eyeballs. You’ll find the final data strip there.
Visit Seraï’s House
Once you’ve collected all four data strips, return to Repine and head to Seraï’s house, located in the uppermost section of the town.
Decrypting the Cypher
Inside Seraï’s house, you’ll discover a decryption device positioned immediately to the left as you enter. Interact with the device, and it will generate a cypher for you.
Unlock the Door
Armed with your freshly minted cypher, return to the room with the locked door. Use the cypher to unlock it and gain access.
