After two seasons, Nine has decided not to bring back Snackmasters. The show, which was based on a UK format, was hosted by Poh Ling Yeow and Scott Pickett, with Yvie Jones serving as a “food detective” on the factory floor. The competition saw experienced chefs vying to recreate popular snacks like Twisties, Drumsticks, Whoppers, Cadbury Favourites, Tim Tams, Four’N Twenty pies, and Domino’s pizzas.;Thanks to its advertiser-friendly nature and seasonal timing in December, the Warner Bros. TV-produced show was a hit. However, despite its success, Nine has canceled the knockout cooking competition after two seasons. The network has a mixed track record with food formats but is now placing its hopes on Gordon Ramsay’s Food Stars, which reportedly finished filming this week.
