The popular Belfast-based drama Blue Lights, created by Two Cities Television, will return for a second 6 x 60′ season, the BBC has announced. Blue Lights premiered on BBC One and BBC iPlayer last month to rave reviews. It was directed by Gilles Bannier, co-created and written by Declan Lawn and Adam Patterson, co-created and co-produced by Louise Gallagher of Gallagher Films, co-created and co-produced by Stephen Wright of Two Cities Television, and received funding from Northern Ireland Screen.;Siân Brooke, Martin McCann, Katherine Devlin, Nathan Braniff, Joanne Crawford, Andi Osho, and Hannah McClean are among those scheduled to return in the second season.
