Formerly known as the “world’s charming athlete,” German track and field star Alica Schmidt appears prepared for the new season.
Schmidt announced her new sports season and training in Spain in an Instagram post.
The 24-year-old athlete is getting ready to compete on the track for another season.
Thanks to his efforts on and off the field, Schmidt has been hired as the fitness coach for the 2020/21 season at Borussia Dortmund.
Forbes magazine named her one of the 30 most promising young business leaders under the age of 30.
Schmidt has yet to win a big title as an athlete, but she intends to add to the medals she has already won.
In 2017, Schmidt finished second in the European Athletics U20 Championship 4 x 400-meter relay, therefore he has experience with success in this event.
She followed that up with a 2019 bronze medal at the European Athletics U23 Championships.
The German competed as a part of the nation’s 6th-place 4×400 meter relay squad at the 2022 European Athletics Championships.
She ran the 400 meters at the 2022 German Indoor Athletics Championships and came in second.
Schmidt, who has 3.7 million followers on Instagram, returned to the track and posted photos of herself posing in a black Hugo Boss training attire on the island of Tenerife with the message, “Season is about to start, let’s have fun.”
Supporters left comments encouraging Schmidt to continue his training, with one user writing, “Pretty girls run like this!”
