Anthony Davis suffered a head injury during Game 5 of the Warriors-Lakers series…
Lakers Provide Update on Anthony Davis Injury
Latest update:
According to Dan Woike of the Los Angeles Times, Davis (foot) is expected to play in Game 6 against the Warriors on Friday.
The major point here is that the Lakers are no longer addressing Davis’ head injury at the end of Game 5.
Davis has been carrying probable tags for weeks due to a foot injury, so he appears to be a go for Game 6.

Davis sat on the bench for a few minutes after the hit to the head, looking as if his vision had been affected. He was then led back to the dressing room for evaluation.
The seriousness of this injury is yet unknown, but anything head related is always troubling.
During the show, Chris Haynes provided an important update, stating that Davis was transported away on a wheel chair and did not appear to be in good health. Haynes also shared the big news on Twitter.

Lakers coach Darvin Ham was questioned about Davis following the Lakers’ 121-106 loss and he delivered a simple answer.
“Obviously everyone saw he took a shot to the head but I just checked in on him,” Ham said. “He seems to be doing really good already. That’s just where it’s at. That’s the status of it right now.”
Lakers fans are understandably unhappy that Davis’s participation in Game 6 on their home court may be jeopardized.
The Warriors were able to win Game 5 to force a Game 6 in Los Angeles, and the story will now be Anthony Davis’s status.
As previously stated, anything relating to the brain is always alarming, especially given some of the troubling circumstances described by Haynes.
Game 6 will take place on Friday night in Los Angeles, and updates on Davis’s condition will most likely be frequent between now and then.
The star big man has been critical to Los Angeles’ success in this series, and they cannot afford to be without him as they try to close out the Warriors in Game 6.
