Redfall Guide – How to complete the Red Candle quest
First and foremost, you must travel to Smith Orchard in order to obtain the enigmatic Red Candle. The Smith Orchard will be marked on your map. It is located northeast of the Maritime Center.
When you arrive at the Orchard, enter through the front door and proceed upstairs. A note taped to a window will tell you where to find the Red Candle and what to do with it once you have it. It’s in the garage.
The Shed is nearby, so simply leave the house and head west. You should be able to find the shed fairly quickly. The Red Candle is kept in a box on the floor. Pick it up and return to where you read the note and place the candle.This will lure a powerful Vampire to your location.
Unfortunately, this Vampire will not appear during the day. Run around until the sun goes down, then return to the house. A Vampire will appear outside the window where you placed the Red Candle. ‘The Voice In The Trees’ is his name.
Despite being named, this is just a regular vampire floating around the area. You can quickly eliminate this guy by blasting him in the head. With the Vampire dead, the quest should be completed automatically. You will receive a 800 EXP and the honor of looting his ashes.
