In anticipation of their third on-screen collaboration, Blonde actress Ana de Armas couldn’t stop gushing about her “sexy” co-star, “Sexiest Man Alive,” Chris Evans.
The Ghosted co-stars made their on-screen debut together in the 2019 murder mystery Knives Out.
Ana acknowledged the two actors’ “chemistry” and talked about Chris’ newfound status as “Sexiest Man Alive” in an interview with People Magazine about the film.
Ana, 34, gushed after the November coronation of the Captain America actor, 41, “I think he was sexy before too. I think it was coming, right?
“It was going to happen at some point. You guys were late. [It was] not ‘if’ just ‘when.'”
Chris’s character, the clinging farmer Cole, has an amazing first date with Ana’s character, Sadie, in their new movie Ghosted, which opens this Friday (April 21).
Yet, as a highly trained CIA operative, she is responsible for keeping Cole safe at all times while she works to save the world.
The typical Hollywood tough guy is playing a softer character, and their chemistry may not be limited to the big screen.
Although the fight was difficult and taxing, Ana claims the romance was “simple.”
She reflected on the ease with which she and Chris were able to bring out the film’s lighter moments, saying, “I think the other part of the movie, the fun, the romance, the conversations and all of that, it comes very natural for Chris and I, and it was just very easy.”
“The chemistry’s there and there’s nothing forced. That part was good.”
The pair said their love was “growing from strength to strength” after completing their third film together.
Chris stated, “We check on each other and we text dog pictures.”
“Ana is a consistent professional and a great friend. It’s a constant.”
The stunning Blonde actress, meanwhile, described their relationship in greater detail.
“I feel like it gets better, deeper” Ana said in closing.
