Maisie Williams made a great joke about being too old to date Leonardo DiCaprio, referring to the actor’s notorious habit of dating young women

Maisie Williams quips that she is too old to date Leonardo DiCaprio on her 26th birthday, which she celebrates by posing in a swimsuit.

For her 26th birthday, Maisie celebrated in style by basking in the sun while wearing a revealing brown bikini top and denim shorts.

She tidied up her brown tresses into a chic bun and appeared to forego any cosmetic enhancements.

Maisie wore a pair of gold earrings with her outfit as she relaxed in the sun in the unnamed tropical paradise.

She also wrote underneath the photograph: ’26 today, feeling very woman, feeling very mama x’

When a fan pointed out that she was now ‘too old’ to date Leo, Maisie jokingly sent her condolences to the Titanic star, 48.

A fan commented, ‘Too old for DiCaprio now,’ to which newly-single Maisie responded, ‘Poor Leo [broken heart emoji].’

The Hollywood actor has been the brunt of many dating jokes, and he has faced criticism for his apparent refusal to woo a woman over the age of 25.

Leo dated Camila Morrone for four years before splitting just weeks before she turned 25, and he has since been seen with a number of young models, including Victoria Lamas, 25, and Eden Polani, 19.

Leo faced harsh criticism for his alleged romance with Eden, who is 29 years his junior, prompting an insider to vehemently deny any romantic relationship existed between them.

He has also been spotted with model Gigi Hadid, 27, sparking dating rumors after being seen out on the town together.

Maisie’s birthday post comes after she announced her split from boyfriend Reuben Selby after five years together.

After posting photos from separate vacations to social media, the couple sparked rumors of a breakup.

She captioned a photo of the couple: ‘The end of an era. Reuben and I have decided to end our relationship.

‘Since we met 5 years ago, our connection always extended deeply into our shared, and separate, creative careers… and it will continue to do so.

‘This decision is something we are so grateful for as we can protect the magic, that we can’t help but emit, whenever we put our brains together.

‘P.s no further questions, please, we must protect our children (my dog).’
