Is there a chance that Resident Evil 4 Remake The Mercenaries will include a multiplayer mode? Discover the answers below.
Resident Evil 4 Remake – Does The Mercenaries mode support Multiplayer?
The Mercenaries mode is back in the Resident Evil 4 remake, and you can get it through a free update. This extra mode was only available in the original game’s single-player mode, but Resident Evil 5 added co-op elements when it was added. While multiplayer may appear to be an obvious choice for The Mercenaries in Resident Evil 4 remake, given Capcom’s previous multiplayer Resident Evil titles, this mode remains a single-player affair.
There is no multiplayer in Resident Evil 4 remake’s The Mercenaries. Instead, players must clear waves of enemies on their own to unlock different characters from the game’s roster. HUNK, Leon S. Kennedy, Luis Serra, and Jack Krauser are among them. Each character has a distinct ability that can be activated once players have killed enough enemies to charge up their “super.” It’s unclear whether more characters will be added to The Mercenaries’ roster in the future.
However, Ada Wong and Albert Wesker were both discovered to have datamined animations and voice lines. Capcom has not yet announced whether or not these characters will be playable. In the meantime, players can have fun with a small selection of stages and characters.
