Update on Khris Middleton’s Injury Status for the Bucks

James Khristian Middleton (born August 12, 1991) is an American professional basketball player for the National Basketball Association’s Milwaukee Bucks (NBA). He is a three-time NBA All-Star who led the Bucks to an NBA championship in 2021.

Khris Middleton is ready to play for Wednesday’s game verus the Miami Heat.

UPDATE (Apr. 09):

Middleton (knee) will miss Sunday’s game against the Raptors.

Middleton was expected to return to the floor on Friday with an eye on the playoffs, so his absence from the lineup on Sunday isn’t shocking.

Middleton played 33 games for the Bucks, averaging 15.1 points, 4.9 assists, and 4.2 rebounds on 44/32/90 shooting over 24.3 minutes per game (19 starts).

UPDATE (Apr. 07):

Khris Middleton (knee) will not play Friday against Memphis.

UPDATE (Apr. 05):

Middleton’s right knee ailment has prevented him from playing against the Bulls on Wednesday.

UPDATE (Apr. 04):

Khris Middleton won’t be able to play against the Wizards on Tuesday because of an injury to his right knee.
Middleton averaged 16.0 points, 6.5 assists, and 4.0 rebounds in 26.0 minutes per game in his last two games, but he will be out for the first half of a back-to-back set Tuesday.

UPDATE (Apr. 02):

Khris Middleton had to leave Thursday’s game against the Celtics because he was elbowed in the face and started bleeding. Against the 76ers, though, he is expected to play.

Khris Middleton should be good to go for Thursday’s matchup with the Boston Celtics.

UPDATE (Mar. 29):

On account of a right knee ailment, Middleton’s status for Wednesday’s game against the Pacers is in question.

The rumor mill has it that Middleton will miss either Wednesday’s game in Indiana or Thursday’s game against Boston since he still isn’t playing in back-to-back sets. Pat Connaughton and Joe Ingles (knee) may see expanded responsibilities once he takes a seat.

UPDATE (Mar. 27):

Khris Middleton scored 13 points (6-14 FG, 1-5 3Pt), grabbed 8 boards, dished out 5 assists, and stole 2 balls over 29 minutes during Saturday’s 129-106 loss to the Nuggets.

After sitting out Friday’s rout of Utah to manage his knee injury, Middleton returned for the second game of Milwaukee’s back-to-back.

In 8 of the Bucks’ last 10 games, the veteran forward has played 31.4 minutes per game, averaging 19.1 points, 7.4 assists, 4.6 rebounds, and 1.0 steals.

UPDATE (Mar. 25):

Khris Middleton missed Friday’s game while his sore right knee was managed, but he is expected to play Saturday.

UPDATE (Mar. 24):

Khris Middleton (knee) has been ruled out of Friday’s contest against the Jazz.

Middleton was a late addition to the injury report, and he ultimately won’t play in the first leg of the Bucks‘ back-to-back.

With Middleton unavailable, expect Pat Connaughton to slide into the starting lineup and see an uptick in minutes. Middleton’s next chance to return to the court will be Saturday against the Nuggets.

UPDATE (Mar. 22):

Khris Middleton and Ingles combined for 26 points, 13 rebounds and 10 assists in Milwaukee’s 118-111 victory over the visiting Toronto Raptors on Sunday.

Over his past three games, Middleton is averaging 22.3 points, seven assists and four rebounds while shooting 51.2 percent overall and 47.6 percent from 3-point range.

UPDATE (Mar. 19):

Khris Middleton finished Thursday’s 139-123 loss to the Pacers with 16 points (6-15 FG, 0-5 3P, 4-4 FT), 1 rebound, 7 assists, and 1 block in 33 minutes.

Middleton got back into the starting lineup Thursday after sitting out the second half of a back-to-back set Tuesday. The veteran wing had trouble finding his shot, but for the fourth time in his last five games, he gave out at least seven assists.

During that time, Middleton has averaged 20,2 points, 7.8 assists, and shooting percentages of 44, 42, and 90.
