The video was released nearly nine months after New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara was accused of assaulting a man in a Las Vegas nightclub elevator.

On Saturday, TMZ released video of a violent February incident involving New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara.

Kamara was arrested and charged with battery resulting in serious bodily harm in February after allegedly getting into an altercation in Las Vegas.
Initially, details of the incident were scarce, but a police report was filed alleging that an altercation occurred at Drai’s After Dark club in the Cromwell Casino in which a man was assaulted by four men.
Kamara was later identified as one of those men.
TMZ obtained video of the incident, which appears to show Kamara assaulting a man repeatedly and violently. The man in the video is believed to be Darrell Greene, who filed a lawsuit against Kamara over the incident in October.
Kamara was arrested and questioned by detectives shortly after the Pro Bowl, which is why he was in Vegas at the time, before being charged with battery.
Since February, the NFL has been debating whether or not Kamara will be suspended for the alleged incident.
It’s been a cloud over Kamara and the Saints for nine months, but the NFL has yet to take any disciplinary action.
Kamara had his share of the incident, the victim called one of his group members ugly and said, “I’ll whoop your ass too.” Kamara told detectives that he saw a fight break out next to him and saw the victim get punched, so he punched him too, thinking he was running away. Kamara claimed he had no idea if he punched the victim while he was on the ground.
It’s unlikely that a suspension will be imposed this season, as the NFL recognizes that the incident is still being investigated by the LVPD and will likely make a decision on punishment this offseason.
The most likely outcome is that Kamara loses games at the start of next season rather than this season, but that is ultimately up to the league.
