Genshin Impact has experienced one of its biggest leaks in HoYoverse history. Unlike smaller leaks that only covered upcoming characters or perhaps a patch or two, this Genshin Impact leak contains the entire game’s future plans for the next nine months, from update 3.3 to update 3.8.
There May Have Been A Leak Of Genshin Impact Updates for Nine Months
It’s difficult to say when the leaks occurred, especially given that leakers don’t want anyone finding out about them, let alone information that could lead HoYoverse to the perpetrators. In this regard, the information allegedly leaked was obtained from HoYoverse’s beta version of Genshin Impact rather than from live public servers.
The information was allegedly stolen and spread across the internet by someone with access to HoYoverse’s exclusive Genshin Impact beta servers. That said, the data leak allegedly began over the weekend of October 22nd, 2022, when a large amount of information about Genshin Impact’s upcoming content surfaced online.
New Area Expansion:

The leak contains roughly 36 weeks of content, though much of it is text-based due to the server-side nature of the leak. This massive amount of leaked content is more than enough to keep anyone busy for a long time.
New Weekly Boss
3.6 will have a new Archon Quest, where we will fight a new Weekly Boss: The Dendro Dragon
It has 2 forms, 2 normal 3D ones and a 2D one.The Boss can spawn underlings like Oceanid that are called "Seed of Arjuna, Ashura and Karna"#原神 #Genshin #Genshinlmpact pic.twitter.com/eHDAXqpGRS

One significant issue with this batch of revealed data is that there appear to be leaked files containing user data for multiple HoYoverse QA testers. As a result, many well-known Genshin leakers have decided to remove content that they may have originally posted.
After further consideration with friends, I decided to remove ALL my tweets from today just to be safe
To make it clear, I do not condone whatever methods in which the data was obtained and I was not involved in obtaining nor distributing the original data

HoYoverse must be extremely disappointed and irritated that, presumably, years of hard work have been wasted. Although the data leaked cannot be proven to be true, there is still reason to believe it is. The thought of the leaked information being real content coming to Genshin Impact makes any Traveler feel sorry for HoYoverse’s ruined efforts.
In saying so, they’ve given themselves more reason to believe it’s all a ruse. As with all leaked information, it’s best to take everything with a grain of salt, and if some information seems too good to be true, everything could change in the future. Until HoYoverse makes an official announcement, it’s best to believe whatever the company says about Genshin Impact’s development.
