How To Stay Hidden From A Single Shadow Bomb In Fortnite For 10 seconds
You might believe that since Shadow Bombs are packaged in stacks of two, using a second one to extend the available time would be an easy way to complete the challenge. However, that strategy will not work, and you will be unable to use it until the initial effect has worn off. Furthermore, since it is not an AOE item, your teammates cannot throw one at you to keep you shrouded. You’ll need to use some jumping techniques in addition to a good surface instead.
To stay shrouded from a single Shadow Bomb for 10 seconds, simply locate a nearby mountain with a grey texture on a downhill slope. If you find the side of a rocky hill or mountain, you can bounce on it indefinitely without ever landing. You will come out of the shroud if you land on grass or normal ground. To stay airborne, jump on the side of the hill, double jump in the air, and land on the hill again. Every time you hit that side of the hill, you must immediately jump again.
When the completion notification appears in the top right corner of your screen, you’ll know you’ve completed the Fortnite challenge. This may take a few tries to get right, so make sure you have a full stack of Shadow Bombs that allow for a few mistakes. The most perplexing challenge will be over before you know it.
