Held as part of Cannes Film Festival, the amfAR Gala not only raises much needed funds for charity, but it’s also one of the highlights of the glamorous film festival, with many celebrities and models in attendance. Here is a run through some of the best hair and makeup seen on the red carpet during the evening as stars did their best to shine as brightly as possible with flawless hair and perfectly polished makeup.

Indian beauty Aishwarya opted for a bold red carpet look. She paired a shimmering green eyeshadow with dramatic layers of mascara and black eyeliner. She made an even bigger statement with her beauty look by opting to pair the bright eye makeup with an equally as attention-grabbing red lip. She kept her hair simple in big loose curls.

Jessica often goes understated when she hits the red carpet and the gala was not an exception. She teamed simple wave hair with a natural looking lip shade, a slick of black mascara and kept her foundation matte, highlighting her stunning porcelain skin.
Model and actress Milla looked daring with a deep glossy red lip colour which suited her green eyes beautifully. Adding a peachy blusher to highlight her cheekbones, Milla also wore subtly applied black eye makeup and swept her hair back in to a tidy style.

With her fiery red hair styled in to curls, Riley channeled an old Hollywood vibe – red lipstick and dark eyeliner with mascara, applied only on the upper eye. She added a sweep of bronzer to give her complexion a further glow.
British model and actress Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is always picture perfect. She showed off a flawless minimal makeup look – glossy pink lips and subtle orange eyeshadow worked together to give her a glowing look that looked barely-there. She added simple waves to her golden locks.
