Some say they aren’t very good singers but just love the experience of singing on stage, while others get a thrill when they have the chance to sing one of their favourite classic songs – even if they do end up forgetting the words!
Amber Rose
Amber doesn’t think she sings well but enjoys it anyway: “I love karaoke! I really can’t sing, but I will definitely throw down on karaoke night!”

Charlie enjoys singing along with her friends: “I love karaoke and totally hog the mic when I go out and do it with my friends.”
Daniel Radcliffe
Daniel is always grabbing the mic: “I love karaoke. I am one of those people (who says), ‘No, no, I can’t, I couldn’t possibly, no I won’t… All right, give me the mic!’ And then I’m elbowing other people out of the way to get to the stage. (I sang Elvis Presley’s) Hound Dog. That, and then I did Feeling Good by Muse. That was my proudest moment, because I actually did that rather well. I was really pleased, because I can sing. I’ve been having singing lessons for two and a half years. I’m not amazing, obviously, but I’m all right.”

Gerard loves belting out some classics: “I love karaoke and I’m very good at the cheesy ones, like New York, New York or I Did It My Way. I can see people when I do it going, ‘Oh no, he’s not doing My Way again!,’ with their heads in their hands. But I love it. I only really have three or four karaoke songs that I know. I always get nervous because a couple times I sang karaoke thinking I knew songs, and then when I started singing and the words came out I realized I didn’t know [them]. I could see the words but I didn’t know when they came. There’s nothing worse than doing that in front of a big crowd. Never again. Never again. I’ve had a couple of disasters.”
Olivia Wilde
Olivia likes to do her karaoke in private: “I love karaoke. I do it but I don’t do karaoke in front of other people, I do private karaoke. I get a private room and I just sing along or sometimes with a buddy and he’ll just sit with me and we’ll sing. It’s better that way. I don’t ruin anyone else’s night by making them hear my sing.”
