Zendaya’s unique and original sense of style has not gone unnoticed, and now the star has opened up on how she likes to express herself through fashion. The singer and actress believes she has discovered her own personality by trying out new looks and says young people should dress how they feel because they might discover a whole new side of themselves. She commented:
“I would say, my style is pretty fearless, definitely unique but still classic. I like to think of myself as a strong influence for young people, and I think a big thing about being young is finding out who you are, experimenting, not being afraid to try things, and not being afraid to really embrace who you are and what makes you happy. And I think fashion is a big part of that.”
Zendaya was controversially criticised for her hair on ‘Fashion Police’ but she says she won’t let critics stop her from expressing herself:
“You don’t have to care about what people think or let people determine your happiness. Do whatever the heck you want.”
She adds that she has a fearless approach to fashion and also thinks the way your style an outfit with makeup and hair can dramatically change the overall look of an ensemble:
“I really don’t have any fear especially when it comes to like my style. Someone could literally tell me ‘Put on a trash bag and wear some Louboutins’ and I would do it, and I would feel comfortable in it—as long as I had the right hair, the right make up, I would do it.”
