As the saying goes, ‘haters gonna hate!’ and these 5 stars say they simply don’t have time to worry about the people who don’t like them. Realizing you can’t please everyone or appeal to every single person, these celebrities have made their peace with their haters and won’t let the negativity get them down. Trying to focus on simply making themselves happy, they opt to just do work that satisfies them, even if their fans don’t like it or they are met with criticism along the way.

FKA says she knows that not everyone will like her: ”Obviously I know if you’re putting yourself out there saying, ‘Hey! Listen to my music!’, with pictures of yourself in the magazines, then people are going to judge you. ‘I hate her music. I hate her hair. I hate her production. I hate her videos’. Fine: don’t care. That’s the great thing about art, it’s not for everyone. But when it comes to racism, really? In this day and age? Pick that?”
Harry won’t let other people change how he thinks: “To a certain degree, that you have to think about other people, as well as looking after yourself. If you didn’t, you’d drive yourself crazy, you have to realise you can’t please everyone – it just doesn’t work. There has to come a point where you step back and do something for yourself. I have decided not to let other people’s opinions change what I think.”
Keira realized she cared too much about other people’s opinions: “[I was] spending so much time being neurotic and beating myself up [that I thought] actually, if I didn’t, I might get further by just going, ‘Oh, f*** it.’ It’s an English trait, isn’t it?”
Kristen is happy with her own work and believes that’s all that counts: “Honestly, I don’t care. It’s fine. I’m really happy doing what I’m doing. I’m sure there are a ton of people out there who would hate [all] my movies, just as I’m sure there are people out there who are obsessed with Twilight and say, ‘I watched the series, and she completely let me down, and then I watched every one of her other movies, and I f–––ing hate her!’ And that’s cool! Just don’t watch my movies.”
Vanessa is proud of herself and won’t let other people drag her down: “I’m so comfortable with myself — honing (sic) in on what I love and what makes me powerful. Things I’ve been doing lately, I’m super-proud of. So I don’t really care if someone doesn’t like it, because I love it.”
