Australian beauty Dannii Minogue is launching her Petite collection for Target in the UK after the line was incredibly successful in her home country. Featuring a range of sizes for petite women, Dannii commented that she is excited to bring her collection to the UK and help fans find a fashionable style solution that works for them. She explained:
”I’ve been so overwhelmed by the popularity here in Australia and I can’t wait to share my collection with the UK. It is so exciting to be able to provide a solution for petites ranged from size 4 to 16 and have my fans at home and abroad feel like they too can exist in the fashion world.”
Speaking on creating the pieces which are focused to fit those of a petite stature, Dannii explained that she wanted to design something for every occasion which includes casual items and pieces for events, so that people have a wide range of choice. She also paid close attention to fabric:
”I have designed petite clothes for casual weekends, office attire, after 5, night’s out and events. The fabrics are really beautiful and they feel amazing on. They are designed to fit straight from the hanger, and they come with a hanger that fits – yes, petite clothes are too small for regular hangers, and too big for kid’s hangers.”
Dannii comments that she has always been frustrated by lack of options and usually has items altered to better fit her figure:
“When I buy clothing, I always have to factor in the cost and time of getting it altered to fit.”
