Aged 81, British actress Joan Collins knows a thing or two about beauty! With a successful makeup collection and always flawless in appearance, Joan has shared her top makeup tips for looking as glamorous as she does on a daily basis. Joan thinks one trick that always looks gorgeous is coordinating nail and lip shades. She believes in always having good looking nails and uses a special treatment to keep them in top shape:
“I think a sign of true glamour is matching nails to lipstick I like my nails to be in good condition, so I use this excellent nail treatment [by Leighton Denny].”
One of her favourite makeup products is her own Joan Collins Timeless Beauty Fade to Perfect Concealer. She says it very effectively hides blemishes, wrinkles and any other imperfections to make the skin appear flawless. Joan jokes that she always keeps one with her just in case fans request selfies and she needs to look good in an instant:
“This is a favourite with make-up artists. It blurs imperfections and diminishes dark circles, lines and wrinkles. I always keep a Medium shade with me in case someone wants a selfie on their phone!”
Another beauty product she can’t live without is the eye serum from her own collection. She always has it ready to use in her handbag and it helps her eyes look more awake when she thinks they’re looking tired:
