Jennifer has decided to stand up for herself: ”My New Year’s Resolution is to stand up for myself. It’s hard for me. Nobody wants to be disliked. You always want to be polite and be nice. I tried to find a balance in saying what I mean and still being nice. I can’t do it. I have this ‘okay’ attitude and everything. I end up allowing myself to get walked over and resenting it.”
Jessica wants to feel more confident in her appearance in the coming year: ”I’m just trying to feel good in a pair of jeans and T-shirt. I can’t wait to be able to feel just comfortable in my skin and know that I’m back to the person I’ve been before. I know this time I’m going to be so much stronger and so much more empowered, because I really earned it and I really got here, and took the steps to get here.”
Kanye vows to close his mouth for a while: “This might be the last time y’all hear me talk s–t for a long time. This might be the last time y’all hear me talk s–t for a long time, might be another like six months. At least. You’re just gonna have to run back the interviews and s–t if you wanna hear some realness!”
Matthew wants to dedicate himself to his relationship: ”My New Year’s resolutions are normally always getting rid of the bad stuff I ate over the holidays and getting to the gym, but this year’s will be geared towards my relationship and just trying to be the best partner that I can be.”
Simon has several resolutions he wants to keep: ”My new year resolutions. Advise not lecture. Listen more than you talk. Happiness is more fun than anger. Forgive and not fester. Always be kind to kids and animals. Your mum is mostly right. And never dread Mondays. And most people younger than you know more than you. (sic)”
