Actress Amanda Seyfried has candidly spoken on suffering from anxiety and even panic attacks. Despite going through such severe anxiety, she still says she enjoys facing a challenge even though it is often a struggle. She admits that she can end up worrying about “silly little things” and it takes her a while to move past her issues:
”I like challenges. I’ve suffered from anxiety and panic attacks for many years and you learn to fight your fears by facing up to them. I still fight against anxiety. It takes time, even to get to the point where although you might have a possible self-image, you still worry about silly little things. I know how to deal with and over time it’s not going to be an issue for me. I just try to relax and have fun and not let myself get wrapped up in unimportant things.”
The ‘Lovelace’ actress also admits that she has a new hobby that she enjoys – painting. She loves to spent hours painting with her dog and enjoys the relaxing space she has created to do it in:
‘Recently I started painting again. I have this amazing craft room in Los Angeles that overlooks the city, with a window onto a big backyard. It’s heaven on earth. My dog sits under my desk and I will pain literally for hours. It’s amazing. It’s the best feeling in the world.”
