You’re bound to have a pretty fabulous life when your parents are David and Victoria Beckham, but 10-year-old Romeo Beckham is already trying to strike out on his own and make a name for himself aside from his famous parents. The youngster has officially launched a modeling career! He’s starring in Burberry’s campaign for Spring 2013.
In the recently released images, Romeo can be seen wearing Burberry pants and a trench coat with the collar turned up to show off the brand’s signature check print. Christopher Bailey, Burberry’s Chief Creative Officer, reportedly handpicked Romeo for the ads and says he “stole the show” during the shoot. Mario Testino photographed the campaign, which also stars models Edie Campbell and Charlie France.
Romeo may have just been named a young face of Burberry, but he apparently already understands the importance of fashion and what it means to represent the brand. He and his brothers Brooklyn and Cruz, and dad David were all spotted last week at the premiere of the Spice Girls musical Viva Forever wearing Burberry suits. His love for fashion isn’t new though – Victoria said back in 2010 that her son is a fashion lover and that he can’t wait to get dressed up to go out. Looks like the fashion world is taking note!
Romeo Beckham may be drawing attention for his new gig as a Burberry model, but he’s not the only celebrity offspring to launch a modeling career. Check out some of these other famous kids who’ve already stepped in front of the cameras to represent some of the top fashion brands!
Hudson Kroenig
Hudson Kroenig is the 4-year-old son of male model and Chanel muse Brad Kroenig. Hudson, who is the godson of head Chanel designer Karl Lagerfeld, walked in his third fashion show for the brand earlier this month. He first walked for a Chanel show when he was just 2 years old and has also been photographed for German Vogue, W, Harper’s Bazaar, and campaigns for both Fendi and Dolce & Gabbana.
Anja Ambrosio
Alessandra Ambrosio’s daughter Anja may only be 4 years old, but she has already starred in an ad campaign with her model mom. The pair were photographed together for London Fog’s Winter 2012 campaign. They modeled outerwear, showed off some other poor-weather accessories, and even posed topless for one shot.
