Letting their mood change how they dress, these 5 celebrities say their style is often influenced by how they’re feeling on a particular day. Although some have a signature style, their choices are still affected by their mood and can change what they wear on a daily basis. Here is what they have to say about their personal style and how it can change.
- Nicole Richie
Nicole selects her look depending on her mood: ”It all depends on my mood for the day that I’m filming. I don’t have my outfits planned out at all, it really just depends on my mood and where I am on that day.”
- Kate Moss
Kate sticks to certain colours but her mood does change her style: ”I just throw on whatever I feel like wearing at the time, which tends to come from the palette of black, grey or red. If I’m having an off-day I’ll wear full black.”
- Selena Gomez
Selena thinks style should be influenced by mood to be personal: “Style to me is supposed to be fun, it’s who you are and what mood you’re in. My personal style is definitely more classic. I love flowy pieces, I love white and black, very neutral and organic. The fashion pieces that I have to have would be scarves and boots you can basically wear them at any time of the year. You can wear a scarf with a sundress because it’s very cute and very girly.”
- Lily Allen
Lily picks completely different things to wear depending on how she feels: “It’s up and down. The way I’m feeling really effects what I wear, my mood I mean. I basically put on whatever I think will make me feel happy that day.”
Miranda lets her mood affect her style: ”As a mum, my everyday style is generally quite relaxed. I dress for the mood I’m in and the occasion. I love to have fun with fashion and I’m obsessed with accessories. I tend to invest in classic fashion pieces, so choosing jewellery is a great way to individualise my style.”
