Taking care of their skin, these 5 stars have found their own anti-ageing treatments that they say work great for them. From more aggressive methods such as laser skin surgery, to simply applying a great anti-ageing moisturizer, these celebrities have commented on the treatments they swear by to keep that youthful glow going.
- Cate Blanchett
Cate loves SK-II’s three-step LXP range and says the products brighten her skin: ”All of the products have Pitera in them, which no other skincare line has. And it has illuminising properties, it feeds the roots of your skin, it’s really hydrating and [great for] that dreaded thing, anti-ageing.”
Gwyneth likes laser treatments to turn back the clock: “I have a great dermatologist in L.A. who gave me this amazing laser the last time I was there. It’s called Thermage. It’s not invasive. I went out to dinner right afterward and I didn’t look crazy, but it’s quite painful. It feels like someone’s smacking your face with a rubber band that has an electric shock in it. But I would do it again, because I feel like it took five years off my face.”
Kate turns to Lancome products for a natural anti-ageing solution without going under the knife: ”I don’t believe in cosmetic adjustments, yet they are becoming more and more popular so I find it very reassuring that there is a luxury brand like Lancôme developing new anti-ageing products all the time – that actually work. They are not trying to alter the face, but to celebrate the natural ageing process and the changes in our environment.”
- Sandra Bullock
Sandra uses an expensive anti-ageing cream: “I like La Prairie’s Anti-Ageing Emulsion. It’s not cheap, and I have no idea if it works, but I love how it makes my skin feel. Everyone makes such a big deal about ageing and I never used to think about it, but now I find myself paying more attention. I have no idea how I’ll look at 60, but I do like experimenting with all the new creams out there.”
- Sarah Jessica Parker
Sarah loves a budget-friendly Garnier product: ”I swear by Garnier Ultra-Lift cream. It targets wrinkles and dryness as well as being really inexpensive.”
