Rising model Gigi Hadid’s career continues to just get bigger and bigger – the daughter of ‘Real Housewives’ star Yolanda Foster, Gigi has been modelling since she was young and is close friends with fellow model Kendall Jenner. Now, as the new face of Maybelline and after recently appearing in CR Fashion Book, it looks as though Gigi’s career is only getting started. Sharing some of her relaxed beauty secrets and unique makeup tips, here are just a few ways Gigi stays looking amazing.
- Her Secret for Gorgeous Lips
Gigi uses a towel to remove dead skin from her lips and picked the trick up while on a fashion shoot: “You learn something new everyday. My favorite one, that I do before every photoshoot, is rub a wet towel on my lips to take all the dead skin off so that they’re soft and plump.”
- She Uses Clear Deodorant
She uses a clear deodorant so it doesn’t leave white marks on clothes: “For deodorant, I like the clear gel because I can’t have any whiteness when I’m working. Secret Flawless Clear deodorant has really good scents, so I use that mostly.”
- Her Favourite Lip Balm
Her favourite lip product is by Dior: “My beauty secret weapon is Dior’s Creme de Rose Smoothing Plumping Lip balm. It’s the best ever.”
- Her Hack for Hiding Baby Hairs
She has figured out a trick to hide baby hairs: “For baby hairs, I have a face brush from Sephora that I spray with hairspray to push back anything leftover from when I pull it all into a ponytail, but I guess you could use a toothbrush.”
- She Uses Cheap Skincare
Gigi isn’t afraid to use cheap skin products: “I wash my face with the cheap stuff from CVS. Whenever I run out I just go and pick whichever one I think looks the coolest or smells good. Right now it’s the St Ives Apricot Scrub. Then I use Eucerin lotion for my body…and for my face [laughs]—that’s embarrassing.”
