Spice Girls singer Mel has done her best to avoid the spotlight: “I decided a long time ago I was going to live my life quietly and not be parading around. It’s hard to talk about privacy because some people will be saying, ‘you f**king wish people gave a shit about you’. But I was always cautious.”
When she’s not working, Nicki enjoys quite a normal life: “I’m in a surreal world, but I’m so normal in it. Most people that I know in the industry have maids, housekeepers, 10 bodyguards and a masseuse with them at all times. Everyone around me is like, ‘You’re so much more low-key than I thought.’ But I don’t like going out, i don’t like crowds, I don’t like clubs. If I do have downtime, I prefer being in the house cooking West Indian food and watching my DVR.”
Robert doesn’t want to be surrounded in luxury, he was a simple life out of the spotlight: “Luxury hotels, hot models and designers buzzing around me? All of them are traps, I want a quiet life. I’m not interested in casual relationships, I need to get to know people. I’m not making an existential statement: I just want a family with two or three kids.”
