Allergies can strike at any time, and without a person’s knowledge that they even could have a reaction. These 5 celebrities have all revealed their unusual and even unexplainable allergic reactions. Some just went through a reaction once that they couldn’t explain, while others say they have allergies to something specific, such as perfume. Here are their unusual stories of having allergic reactions and what they experienced.
Eva is allergic to various perfume ingredients and decided to make her own allergy-free perfume: “I’ve been allergic my entire life. If someone were wearing perfume next to me, I would sneeze and sneeze and sneeze. I always admired people who wore perfume – I was like, ‘Gosh, I wish I could wear one. My agent said, ‘Why don’t you make one?’ “
Meghan Trainor
Meghan’s allergy made her parents live apart: “I was allergic to the school in Nantucket. I would cough all the time. It was the mould. When I moved to Cape Cod, they (other students) would ask, ‘Why did you move here?’ and I was like ‘I was allergic to my school’ and they were like, ‘Oh you’re crazy then, right?’ We rented a house on the Cape and my mum took me and my brothers, so all went to school together. My parents had to live, basically like divorced, for seven years, but they’re happily married so it was very difficult.”

Melissa once suffered a big reaction but never figured out what it was: “My face blew up… I still don’t know what it is. I’m having some weird allergy thing. My face – I just woke up one morning and it was like, ‘Poof!’ Both eyes shut…, my neck, my hands, I’m still in the process (of figuring out why). I’ve never been allergic to anything in my life and it keeps happening. I just keep popping crazy Benedryl (antihistamine).”

She explained: “It was me in the shower with 17 Japanese men and it was very sexy because I had an allergic reaction to the water and so they dressed me in garbage bags from the waist down.
