Jeff believes money doesn’t equal happiness: “Money doesn’t buy you identity or happiness, right? That’s not an easy lesson to learn. In fact, it’s a lesson you should constantly relearn, I think, for me, for the world.”
Kirsten says her mother often complains to her about how reality stars make more money than her, but she personally doesn’t mind: ”She sees that I do these indie films and she’s like, ‘I don’t understand why these people [reality TV stars] make so much money and you don’t’. I’m like, ‘Mum, I’m an artist, I want a career path that will last. Relax. We’re OK.”
