For anyone in the spotlight, it must be much harder to come out as bisexual or gay, knowing that you may be judged by others, but these 5 celebrities have all proudly spoken on being bisexual, and have opened up on what their sexuality means to them too. Some have done so in a bid to be honest and open, while others are hoping to raise awareness of gay rights, such as Anna Paquin, who came out as bisexual in a charity video in the hopes of making the issue which is close to her heart more known.

Pink says she isn’t trying to be part of a trend, but feels that pure love can be found with a woman or a man:”I’m not embarrassed about being bisexual. This is who I am. Love is pure and I try to keep it that way. This is who I am, what I feel. I think it’s unnecessary to draw the subject out, but I think it even more stupid not to discuss it. It seems as if bisexuality is a trend and I should whip up the masses. Well, I don’t believe in trends, I just believe in me. I would also be just as happy with a new woman. I’m not complicated, I sing about love in all its shapes, forms and colours.”
