From the layers of mascara to the perfectly applied foundation, these 5 celebrities all love to spend hours putting on makeup. Be it for a red carpet event or simply just for fun, these stars all love everything about getting made up and regularly practice their skills on their friends and family members. Some have dreams of working as a makeup artist while others love to buy countless lipsticks, blushers and any other goodies they can get their hands on to broaden their makeup collection and give them new products to experiment with.
Diane Kruger
Diane likes to keep things natural and does her own red carpet makeup: ”I feel like less is more, especially on the red carpet… I think that too much make-up takes away from your individuality. Luckily, I love make-up and I used to model, so I feel confident doing it myself.”
Kim Kardashian
Kim loves getting ready to go out, especially the hair and makeup part:”I love glamming up! My sister Kourtney hates doing her hair and make-up, but I love the whole process; it’s like a transformation and I feel much more glamorous afterwards. You don’t always have to be made up to look pretty though, obviously.”
Kate Hudson
Kate does makeup for all of her friends and used to practice on her brother: “I love putting make-up on friends. I do it all the time. If I’m bringing them to a premiere, or we’re having a party, they’ll all come over early and I’ll do their makeup. I love it. My poor brother. He was kind enough to be my mannequin, and let me experiment on his face. I’d put blue eye shadow on him and we’d laugh.”
Jessica Alba
Jessica may not have as much time to do makeup anymore but she still loves it: “I use concealer, Revlon’s cream blush and a light tinted base or moisturiser. My beauty regime has changed so much since becoming a mother. I’ve learnt to multitask and throw my look together in five minutes. I love make-up that I can apply with my finger tips, as it saves time.”
