It happens to us all, but these celebrities say they can’t catch a break when it comes to self-inflected injuries that won’t stop happening!
Beyonce
Beyonce says she is constantly falling over and always has bruises: ”I’ve fallen quite a few times, so I’ve learnt how to fall. It’s very rare that I’m not bruised in my life. I’m always bruised somewhere – like my legs, my hips, I’ve hit something, I’ve fallen… We have a joke. Whenever I’ve had a video that’s great, I’ve definitely bled somewhere – the dancing, and the shoes, and the costumes – it’s always a ring or something that slices me. But you’ve already started so you’ve just gotta fight through it.”
Joss doesn’t wear heels because she thinks it’s too dangerous: “It’s nothing to do with being grounded and it’s nothing to do with a statement. I just don’t want to fall over. I love shoes and I think they’re sexy and gorgeous, but they hurt and you fall over a lot. I’m totally clumsy, especially when I’m on stage because you gotta get into it and sometimes your whole body is involved so you can’t trust yourself to stay standing.”
Kelly often ends up injured because she is so double jointed: ‘I’m double-jointed everywhere, I think that’s why I’m so accident prone. Tight jeans and high heels equals one of my hips popping out and my face on the floor. As a result of this curse, I can fall perfectly. I turn it into a dance move.”
Kristen says that she often becomes clumsy around certain people: “I’m not that smooth. I can get clumsy around certain people. Like if I were to sit down and think, ‘OK, I’m really famous, how am I going to conduct myself in public?’ I wouldn’t know who that person would be!”
Mischa walks into things a lot: “I’m ridiculously clumsy, you’d never want to date me, I’m an embarrassment. I wouldn’t even know where to start telling you the things I’ve walked into. I think that’s why the photographers love me, they know I’ll end up on my a**e looking silly, I’m constantly bruising myself or grazing my knees.”
