Zac Efron Admits to Strip Club Visit

Zac Efron blushed as he admitted to spending some time (and reportedly some cash) in a strip club in NYC – now, in case you’ve teleported in from the 1950′s, I hate to break it to you, but going to a strip club is not illegal if your 22, although if your the star of High School Musical, I guess it might slightly dampen your image. Zac appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live, where he was asked straight out if he went to the club, and he said yes:

“I had this image of what it’d be like. I’ve heard a lot about these places, mostly from rap music – they’re supposed to be pretty reputable! So I envisioned myself in a nice couch with stunna shades with T-Pain and Usher making it rain money! And it just wasn’t like that.”

Zac continued to explain, saying that he asked his girlfriend, Vanessa Hudgens before he went for permission to go:

“The hardest thing was calling your girlfriend before. How do you even start that conversation without feeling like a total a**hole?”

He says that he doesn’t go to strip clubs very often, and it was a part of a celebration, but it was reported that he dropped $2,000 on vodka and strippers, and he was accompanied by HSM co-star, Corbin Bleu. Check out the video of Zac trying to explain his strip club visit after the cut!
