The Bachelor Rome: Made a New Choice Posted by Tiff on 22 Jan 2007
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Remember my posts about ABC's 'The Bachelor: Rome' around Thanksgiving? You know it's a guilty pleasure of mine. Usually, we don't hear a whole lot about the couples after the show, unless of course, they choose to get married on television. (Trista & Ryan did this.)
Anyway, the most recent season ended when Lorenzo chose Jen much to my disappointment.
I really wanted him to choose Sadie.
Well, it looks like he just might have! Rumors swirled right around the show's wrap up that Sadie had quit her "dream job" at a PR firm in California and couldn't tell why. Now, Kim tipped me off to the possible reason.
Turns out Sadie has moved to New York City, where Lorenzo lives. They've been spotted hanging out and having dinner on several occasions. And reports also say that he and his chosen, Jen are no longer together. (I didn't think they looked very good on 'Regis & Kelly' anyway. It looked forced, he looked regretful, and she looked unsure.)
So it looks like Sadie and Lorenzo might be together after all. I think they're better together anyway.

The Bachelor Rome: Episode 4 Posted by Tiff on 24 Oct 2006

This week, jilted psycho socialite Erica returns to the show. Can we say "plant?" Oh I definitely think so, especially now. They wouldn't be keeping her around. Not to mention I didn't hear her mention Lorenzo once. Many show viewers would like to see Erica in her own reality show, but really, I'm going to vote no on this one, after all, one Paris Hilton is enough, really.
To find out who got the group and one on one dates tonight, what Erica had to do with the show this week, and whose parents Lorenzo will be meeting, click READ MORE.

Lorenzo took Jami to the opera, while he arranged (the show anyway) for her to wear two million dollars in diamonds. However, while there, he said it was more like being with a best friend, that there wasn't any chemistry between them. So, he didn't give her the rose, meaning it was time for her to go back to the states. Honestly, with the image Jami has portrayed on the show so far, I didn't think she seemed like the time that would have fun at the opera, or strolling through parts of Europe looking at architechure, or going to a museum. Not that there's anything wrong with not being comfortable with that, but it seemed like the type of thing Lorenzo would do, and she would come along, but not have fun. No matter, she didn't get the rose.

In the middle of painting, making and eating dinner, and keeping my spoiled Labrador happy, I caught "The Bachelor."
Tonight, the dating began. On dates, there is always a rose, and the bachelor can choose to give the girl (or a girl from the group if they're on a group date,) the rose, so she automatically is safe during the rose ceremony. If they are on a one-on-one date, and he doesn't give her the rose, she flies back home that night. (Can we say ouch?)
