Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show

We’ll have to wait a few weeks before we get to see the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, but the show taped last night in LA. The Spice Girls were the headline performers; check out a few pictures from what they did below:

And of course the celebs came out; I wish I could see the type of swag they took home! Eva Longoria and Hayden Panatierre were looking cute in their mini dresses. They put those freakishly tall models to shame!

And I’m guessing Heidi Klum knew how she looked from the back….gross! Isn’t that really unsanitary? I wouldn’t want my mom looking skanky like that.

You’re gonna have to keep reading to see pictures from the show itself! Did Jessica Stam take a tumble on the runway? I’m guessing they’ll edit that out!

I hardly think that hayden and eva put the models to shame. they both have short little stubby bodies.

Hey Kim,

I hope you’re doing well, and I just wanted to say Heidi Klum looks AWFUL. The butt-cleavage is bad enough, but seriously what’s up with that second pic? It looks like she took a way-too-tight bra off about 2 minutes before putting that dress on and having her picture taken. Ugh, THIS is what they consider fashion??? I hope any chairs she sat on were covered in plastic.

And I agree with your comment above, I’d rather be short and petite than ridiculously tall. I don’t even hit 5′ and while that used to bug me, I’ve grown to like it, or at least ACCEPT it, because people refer to me as “cute” and “little” instead of rather derogatory terms that tall girls sometimes hear. Tiff always said she feels like a giant standing next to me, and she’s only like 5’4″ LOL.

Yeah I’m about Tiff’s height and if I were forced to choose I’d rather be Eva or Hayden’s height (they’re about 5’1″) than 5’10″.

I’m 6’0, and being tall and thin is actually quite fun, I find. While it’s hard to find pants, it’s got lots of benefits, like… modeling jobs. (and a girl of 5’1 who weighs as much as me would be considered chubby, whereas I’m considered a twig..)

As for the dragqueenishness, definitely not if you’ve got the right face and the right shape.. which is something that many runway models haven’t got.

^Nah, to me any girl that tall is awkward looking. And the thin/twiggy ones especially resemble boys.

As far as modelling jobs go, I have friends who are 5ft tall and are making bank as models. But that’s great that you’ve come to accept what you have!

Why not use actual curvy celebrities as Victoria’s Secret models?They look more healthy and realistic.Examples include:
1.Jennifer Lopez
2.Halle Berry
3.Kate Winslet(voted best celebrity body)
4.Beyonce Knowles
5.Christina Hendricks(a role model for women in terms of body size)
6.Kimberly Walsh(of Girls Aloud)
7.Cameron Diaz
8.Queen Latifah

I hate the current VS models as they look disgustingly skinny to me.
