According to reports, Michael Douglas wants Danny DeVito to save his marriage with long time partner Rhea – the couple recently announced their split after 30 years together. Michael thinks Danny, who he has worked with on several films in the past, needs to work hard to save the marriage and needs to win her back again because Michael believes they belong together and make a perfect couple:
”When Michael found out Danny and Rhea were splitting up he told Danny he thought he was making a big mistake. Michael loves Rhea and he told Danny he will never find another woman quite like her. They complement each other perfectly and are the best of friends. He said he should do whatever it takes to win Rhea back and come to his senses fast before it is too late. It’s because of Michael they are talking to each other.”
The couple are currently trying to work things out and Michael thinks that the couple will forget about their falling out because they’re so perfect for each other. He feels as though he knows a lot about marriage from his own two marriages and thinks it’s inevitable that they’ll come through it as a couple:
”Michael is well positioned to talk about marriage. He’s been with Catherine for 12 years now and he learned a lot from his failed first marriage to Diandra. He’s confident that Danny and Rhea will settle their differences and get back together.”
