Spears Tell All On Its Way This Fall

Yes, this is just another one of those things that makes you shake your head. When parents of a major celebrity do just about anything they can to cash in on their daughter’s fame.

For Britney’s dad, it’s the happy check he gets every week for being her conservator. For her mom, it will be the royalties, plus any advances she’s been given, for the Tell All she’s been writing on the Spears family.

Yes, Lynne Spears has been putting pen to paper and writing steadily on all that it is like to be in the Spears clan. What, no reality show? That’s really how it’s done these days you know, Lynne.

At any rate, the book should have been out by now, but the teenage daughter went and got herself knocked up, so that went on hold for a wee spell. Now “Through the Storm: A Real Story of Fame and Family in the Tabloid World” is set for release this fall.

The goal for Lynne, besides the paycheck of course, is to tell the story of a family struck by fame and struck down by the tabloids, all through the eyes of a mother’s love. *GAG* She says emphatically however, it’s not a parenting book.

A good thing too, I’m thinking. The royalties from a parenting book written by a Spears mummy or daddy would be pretty darn slim.
