Sean Penn Charged with Battery and Vandalism

Oscar winner Sean Penn has been charged with Battery and Vandalism after he got into a fight with a paparazzi four months ago.If convicted of the charges, Penn could face up to 18months in jail.

The fight between Sean and the paparazzi broke out when a group of photographers were trying to get photos of Sean. A witness said about the incident:

“Penn kicked a paparazzo and broke his camera”

The incident was also caught on tape and when it was viewed by the court, they decided to file charges. The photographer in question, named Jordan Dawes filed a police report in October.

This isn’t the only brush with the law that Penn has had – in 1987 he was jailed for 33days after he assaulted a photographer while on the set of a film. During his marriage to Madonna, the actor was also charged with felony and domestic assault.
