Maybe Ryan Reynolds needs to be single for a while – he doesn’t seem to know just what he wants. One of the reasons he split from wife Scarlett Johannson was that she didn’t want to start a family. Now, he reportedly ended things with Charlize Theron because she wanted to do just that.

Celebitchy reports that Reynolds ended his fling with Theron because he was only looking for something casual. She, on the other hand, is in a rush to settle down and have kids because she’s getting older. Charlize believes that thing could have worked out in the long run and she’s pretty upset about it being over. The timing was just wrong. Ryan is newly divorced and both are focusing on their careers rather than their personal lives.
