Britney Planning Tell All Book? Posted by Kim on 27 Apr 2007
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The newest wild rumor about Britney Spears is that she's writing a tell all book about the people closest to her. What, a celebrity writing their own tell all book? It's odd, and it's backwards I know, but so is Britney. In the book she reportedly dishes about her Mom, Justin Timberlake, Kevin Federline and other close friends and family.
A "source", as always, says Justin might be the one who takes it the hardest "Britney blames most of her problems with drugs and alcohol on the heartache she experienced years before, during her time with Justin - she couldn't trust him. She also felt he became mean toward the end of their relationship, she said he called her fat and told her she'd need to lose weight before he would have sex with her", the source says.
On KFed, the source says, "His womanizing, his wild spending, the verbal abuse he hurled at her when he thought their marriage was coming to an end. Brit will say he deliberately tried to drive her crazy. She feels Kevin just pretended to love her for the money and a music career. When that sunk in, she was so heartbroken that she wanted to kill herself." They also mention that Britney planned to kill herself after finally realizing Kevin was using her. Wow.
And as for her mom, Britney just paints her as the usual, money grubbing and "meddling" stage mom.
Whatever makes you feel better, Brit. Unfortunately, I have a feeling this form of "revenge" really won't. How long before she realizes only she can control her life?
Rock Star Supernova - Headspin Posted by Kim on 13 Feb 2007
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
RSSN releases their first video (it's been how many months since the band formed??), with Lukas Rossi's original song Headspin as the single. Now I still love this song and listen to it every so often, but this version is quite a bit different from the original recorded version, and what he sang on the show. Check it out here:
Pretty low budget. I think I'm gonna stick to the original.
Not So Big Numbers for Supernova Posted by Kim on 29 Nov 2006
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The numbers are in for Rock Star Supernova's debut disc: 16,700 copies sold. And no, I didn't leave out an extra zero. Ouch. I don't think anyone (in their right mind) expected Rock Star Supernova to make a big splash on the music charts, but who thought the numbers would THAT bad?! Oh well, Im sure Lukas and company will find something to party (and make out) over anyways.
Who Will Sell More? Posted by Kim on 16 Nov 2006

Rock Star Supernova, OR....
DAUGHTRY?
Both albums drop on Tuesday. Supernova may have some big names in the group, but my money is on DAUGHTRY. In the meantime you can listen to all 11 tracks off of the Rock Star Supernova album here
Half of Supernova @ The Gemini Awards Posted by Kim on 05 Nov 2006
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Lukas Rossi and Gilby Clarke showed up at the Gemini awards in Canada yesterday. Who knows where Tommy was, he probably broke something too. SPEAKING of Jason Newsteds departure......it looks like some guy named Johnny Cult from the Black Crowes has stepped in to take his place.
Sounds the like the band has it together (for now). Check out their new website, www.IntoTheSupernova.com
Ryan Star @ Gotham Magazine Party Posted by Kim on 26 Oct 2006
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
LOVE these pics. Last night was Ryan's sold out homecoming show at the Bowery Ballroom in New York and Thursday night is his solo show in New Jersey. Who says only the good stuff only happens here in LA? Check out some pictures and more details from the show over on RSF. And I'm also hearing that one of our other loves here at GTS, Constantine Maroulis, was in attendance. Yeah, that's like rubbing salt in a wound.
Yeah, We Kinda Knew This Would Happen.... Posted by Kim on 25 Oct 2006

That guy in the background seems REALLY happy to be watching.
Ryan Star "We Might Fall" Posted by Kim on 24 Oct 2006
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Some of you might have caught this the other day whie the site was down for reconstruction. If you didn't, watch it now, if you did, watch it again. Ryan's first (I think?) video for We Might Fall is just beautiful; I especially love the part where it shows his reflection in the piano!
More Trouble For Supernova Posted by Kim on 23 Oct 2006
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Jason Newsted, the bassist and the only serious member of the group, is officially out for medical reasons. Here's the lowdown from TommyLee.tv:
The former Metallica member is scheduled for immediate surgery to repair a torn anterior labrum in his left shoulder and a rotator cuff and bicep tear in the right. Newsted suffered the injuries while trying to catch a 90-lb bass head that had fallen from atop his amp. The surgery will be followed by a lengthy rehab assignment that could leave him sidelined for up to nine months.
Of course, I hope Jason makes a full and quick recovery. It seems like this band was just doomed from the start; first they lose their name and now their bassist.
Anyways, I doubt the other guys are getting stressed over all these problems. Lukas is currently following Tommy around on the Motley Crue tour. But don't look for him to be performing with the band, apparently he's just "hangin' and bangin' ".
In other RS:SN news, Dilana is gearing up to launch her solo career. She's already got new recorded versions of Supersoul and Roxanne on her myspace page. Supersoul sounds 100 times better then it did on the show (maybe not lyrically). It looks like just about everyone from the show is fairing better than Lukas.
