Rihanna Channels the ’80s

Pop Princess Rihanna was photographed visiting Fuse studios on Monday, where the singer showcased her 80s-inspired style.

Her retro-getup included a puff-shouldered white blazer and baggy leather pants, somewhat reminiscent of MC Hammer’s trademark look.

A self-proclaimed “fashion fanatic”, Rihanna gives credit for her rule-bending style to her make-up artist mom, and told the British edition of In Style that her masculine creations come from her early years.

“I used to dress like a boy when I was a kid,” she said in 2008. “I’d wear my brother’s baggy pants and his trainers.”
