Reese Witherspoon is a newly married, Oscar-winning actress with two beautiful children. Still, she gets upset at times about her life in the spotlight. She is featured on the cover of the May issue of Vogue and in her interview with the magazine, she reveals her feelings about how public her life has become.
She admits to sitting in her car and crying sometimes because she can’t go out in public as much as she’d like to. Despite this occasional sadness, she insists she wouldn’t trade her life for anything. As much as she has given up for her lifestyle, she has gained even more in life experience. She is also appreciative of her friends for the little privacy they help to maintain.
Witherspoon also discusses her husband, Jim Toth, in the interview. Reese, who was born in Louisiana, says that her fellow southerners have voiced their approval for the couple.
“Over the holidays I was at a department store in L.A. with my friends, and these three women from Oklahoma came up to me, and they said, ‘Reese. We are so happy for yeeew. We liiike this guy for yew.’ “
The women also said Toth seemed like a nice man who would treat Reese well. Reese obviously agrees with this opinion of Jim, saying,
“He’s wonderful. He’s just a really great guy, and I feel really lucky.”
She also feels very fortunate to have such wonderful children, opening up about how much they’re growing and developing their own personalities.
“I know it’s corny, but being a parent to me is such a great privilege; that I get to chaperone these beautiful little souls through life. They astound me with their knowledge and their humor.”
The actress discusses all this and even more about her life experiences in the issue that hits newsstands on April 19.
