Rachel McAdams Told to ‘Stop Making Stupid Movies’ by US Immigration Official

Rachel McAdams has revealed her run in with a US immigration official when she tried to enter the US, while leaving her native Canada. At the time, Rachel was still rocking her dyed pink hair, and was told by the abusive agent to fix her hair and stop making stupid movies. Rachel recounts the story:

“She kicked me to the curb, she was tough. I had pink hair at the time, and she said “Don’t dye your hair that colour and don’t make any more stupid movies”.’

Rachel says that she had a green card, but still had to go through immigration control. She didn’t ask the official which films she thought were ‘stupid’ but has since become a much bigger star, starring in films such as Sherlock Holmes and the State of Play. Referring to the incident, Rachel says she was just happy the official finally let her go:

‘I was just glad she let me through.’
