Nicole Richie has been keeping pretty quiet since her recent wedding, but this mom-on-the-go is also continuing her various fashion ventures while managing to stay out of the way of the paparazzi for the bulk of the time, which makes her instantly classier than the stars who parade themselves around for photographers – Paris Hilton must ring the paps every time she goes out. Taking her kids out to a friend’s house, Nicole dressed head-to-toe in black, which may be kind of harsh looking, but Nicole makes it look great. Wearing a lacy kimono style jacket, trilby hat and black pants, she looked effortlessly stylish yet casual.

Ok, I’ll admit it – this isn’t her most exciting look ever, but she does always look pretty well dressed, and she must be dizzyingly busy these days (2 kids and her own business to look out for) so you’ve got to hand it to her – she still finds the time to put a little effort into herself, and I love the way her kid’s hat matches hers – I see a new trend for sure..
