More Information on Chris Benoit

Just a warning to you guys before you read this, some of the details are kind of gruesome and disturbing.

I posted an update last night about wrestler Chris Benoit, saying that the death of his family and himself was the result of a murder suicide. Exactly how did they die? Law enforcement has told the Associated Press that he strangled his wife Nancy on Saturday, smothered his son on Sunday, and then hung himself in his home gym on Monday

More information has come out about his relationship with his wife. The two actually filed for divorce in 2003 with a petition for protection from domestic abuse. She told a judge once that she was “intimidated by threats of violence” from her husband. And eventually his wife was the one who had the divorce papers and restraining order dismissed.

Stories like this are nothing new, unfortunately. Hopefully this gives a shout out to women….if you see clues or any sort of violent tendencies from your husband/boyfriend, even if they’re just threats, GET OUT of the relationship. Don’t even try to work things out, especially if it’s not only your life on the line.
