Former ‘Sabrina, the Teenage Witch’ star Melissa Joan Hart has revealed her shocking experimentation with drugs. The star, who grew up in the spotlight, admits that she went through a phase which lasted around a year and a half. She says it involved trying several different types of drugs including “weed, ecstasy, mushrooms and mescaline”. Now with three sons, the actress admits that her time was just an experimentation that she no longer continues:
”I experimented with weed, ecstasy, mushrooms and mescaline for about a year and a half.”
In her new book, Melissa also points the finger at Paris Hilton, who she says once offered her cocaine which she turned down. She admits that she once showed up to a Maxim magazine shoot while still on the drug ecstasy and believes she was hanging out with a bad crowd which lead her to making changes in her life when she had that realization:
‘That was my third or fourth time on ecstasy. I was kind of running with a bad crowd. I just didn’t enjoy taking drugs. I don’t like the loss of control.”
